Dublin-Laurens County is centrally located in Middle Georgia half way between Atlanta & Savannah. I-16 is the major east-west corridor running through our county which connects us with I-75 at Macon and I-95 near Savannah. Laurens County is the third largest county in Georgia based on land size with 45,000 residents. Our community has an airport capable of handling all corporate jets, Norfolk Southern & Georgia Central Railway, L.P. provide rail service to the area and the major seaports of Savannah and Brunswick give area industries quick access to worldwide shipping lanes.

Whether it’s golfing, fishing, shopping, volunteering or just killing time, Dublin-Laurens County offers a wide variety of leisure time activities including a month-long celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Since 1966 this family-oriented celebration has grown into a major event, drawing thousands of visitors from all over the country. It seems the entire town is painted green and everyone shows up for a huge selection of events ranging from dances and concerts, to art displays, a fashion show, beauty pageant, Irish Stew, kite flying, a bike race, a 5K and 10K run…the list goes on and on. There’s even a pancake supper featuring, you guessed it – green pancakes!
